I got a taste of what it would be like working and living in Germany, and I must say, it's not so bad (aside from freezing temperatures). It's very easy to get around and its quite impossible to get lost with all the street signs.
The best part was meeting the people and striking up friendships I never knew I'd make. It was a defining moment for me. Most of the time, I still feel immature and naive, but at those moments, I felt that I was really on my own and that independence was mine to keep, and the world was mine to conquer.
